SLUKA, Lorraine on January 17, 2010 of New Milford. Before retiring she worked as an insurance cashier at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. She was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Oradell and a founding member of St. Joseph’s Council 3814 Columbiettes. Beloved wife of Edward. Devoted mother of Diane Jensen and her husband Al, Susan Dzamba, Nancy Hillman and her husband Brian, Marianne Murtha and her husband Brian, Robin Brunck and her husband Gregory, Julie Stadulis and her husband Tommy, the late Lynn Wadlow and her husband Robert and second mother to Michele Manzi Baskiewicz. Dear sister of the late William, John, and Charles Davis. Loving grandmother of Eddie and Gosia, Katie and Sam, Kristy, Kathy, Danielle, Jack, Mike, Jessica, Nicole, Steven, Courtney, Billy, Gregory, Jenna, Julie, Joey, Zack, Jake and Luke. Also survived by a large circle of friends and former coworkers form her many years at Holy Name Hospital. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield Wednesday morning at 10:15 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Oradell at 11. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Keeping in mind her generosity to numerous charitable organizations, memorial contributions to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
