Bernard M. Carr (Bernie), 74, on January 19, 2010 of Toms River formerly of Bergenfield. Born in Bronx, NY, he was a Frozen Food Merchandiser for A&P, Montvale for 44 yrs. and was affectionately known as “Freezer King”. He served in the US Army from 1959-60. Beloved husband of Kathleen M. Carr (nee McEntee). Devoted father of Michael and his wife Maureen Carr, Terry and her husband Keith Amato, Danny and his wife Jean Carr, Peggy and her husband Ivan Diaz, Robert, Edward and Thomas Carr and Jennifer and her husband Justin Everett. Loving grandfather of 9. Also several nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in law and friends. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at R.C. Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
